Now available in the UK, Kia has been showing off their first ever performance-focused car, the Kia pro_cee’d GT, standing out from the rest of the Kia range. Kia’s turbo-charged 1.6 litre ‘gamma engine’ produces an impressive 201bhp and 265Nm of torque with a top speed 143mph, it’s able to reach 0 to 60mph in 7.7 seconds – fantastic for a sport-hatch. With prices starting at £19,995, this also includes Kia’s reputable 7-year/100,000 mile warranty as standard.
In keeping with the performance design, the interior presents the driver and passenger with Recaro sport seats, upholstered in both suede and leather. The overstitched GT logo and perforated grip on the steering wheel will certainly remind you that you are driving Kia’s most exciting car.
For those who love their tech, don’t expect anything less when it comes to Kia. The GT includes adaptive Xenon headlights, touchscreen satellite navigation, LED dashboard and Bluetooth voice recognition and music streaming.
Chief Designer Peter Schreyer has given the GT a very distinctive look, sporting a tiger-nosed grilled, dual exhaust, LED lights and 18” alloy wheels, combining to create a truly performance-styled car – available in red, black and white.
